Marietta man sentenced to 30 years for online child pornography - A Marietta man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for coercing teenage boys to produce sexually-explicit images of themselves and send them to him over the Internet.
Michael Macaluso, 38, was convicted in December of getting at least two boys to send him nude photos and sexually-explicit masochistic videos. He will have to register as a sex offender and spend the rest of his life under supervision after his prison term.
“This defendant personifies what should frighten every parent ... : someone masquerading on internet social media, such as Facebook and MySpace, as an innocent, curious teenager looking to make new friends.
