Man in court on internet sex charges - A man has appeared in court accused of using the internet to groom a 13-year-old US girl for sex and inciting her to commit suicide.
He appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court today after being arrested at his home yesterday.
He faces four charges, including one of using the internet to send indecent material to groom a person under 16 for sexual activity.
He faces a further charge of using the internet to incite a female to commit or attempt to commit suicide and one of procuring the same girl with the aim of producing child pornography.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between January 2006 and March 27 this year.
Apparently they were chatting for 14 – months! I’m thinking a computer monitoring program would have let somebody know what was going on…..
