Chiropractor charged with exploiting teens
A Georgia chiropractor who is facing child pornography charges in his home state has been arrested by Suffield police on charges that include enticing a minor via the computer, authorities said.
The charges filed against him by Suffield police also include attempting to promote a minor in an obscene performance, risk of injury to a child, and attempted first-degree larceny, police said.
Suffield Police Chief Michael Manzi said the charges came about after Macaluso contacted a 15-year-old Suffield boy over the Internet. Suffield police began investigating the case on May 31, the chief said.Further details weren't available because the warrant supporting Macaluso's arrest has been sealed for two weeks.
I think we have enough details to imagine what happened.....

I hate to break the news, but in high school he did this stuff all the time with a lot of the underclass boys in band. It was rumored that he had wild orgies at West Chester band camp with other young boys. He always had trouble with girls. A lot of the Freshmen boys looked up to him when he was a senior because he was a drum major. Its also understood that he was highly violent and put many people in the hospital and some near death.

I'm going to tell all of You a little secret because I fought him and lost badly despite my size advantage and martial arts traning. I am 6-4" and weigh 250 lbs and all muscle and train all the time and am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He and I had a disagreement and I took it for granted that he would never make an attack against me because I had every advatage You could think of in terms of reach, musculature, and proficiency of technique. That was the problem. I stayed relaxed and he seemed relaxed too and then all of the sudden BAM BAM BAM BAM with four heavy quick shots to the head and a back leg sweep and I was down on the floor. I was already disoriented and He then straddled my head and started wailing away when my friends pulled him off of me and almost started a complete bar room brawl. I was lucky not to sustain much permanent damage. The key is if he comes within three feet of You, You must realize that the fight has already started. You must throw the first punches otherwise he will plant several punches to your head before You can blink. He is very very fast. I can not stress that enough. As for guns, I do not think that he will give anyone enough probable cause to use it in time for self defense, so if You try to use a gun against him, You will probably be on the hook for murder. Someone under assault by him will never have the opportunity to pull the weapon from the holster, then aim and fire, so forget that idea. The key is STRIKE FIRST ! STRIKE HARD ! and BE JUST AS VICIOUS and COMMITTED in BATTLE as he will be. And once he is down, keep PUNCHING HIS HEAD until You can no longer throw a punch. That is his own recipe and he should sometime experience it for himself.
To the previous poster. When you say you were 'lucky not to sustain much permanent damage' did you suffer any long term efforts from his actions?
The only way to mitigate his behaviours which seem, to me, totally inappopiate in bars as a first line of dealing with the situation mentioned is to get him behind bars and sooner rather than later.

People need to be made aware that what has been reported about Macaluso is quite possibly rooted in his childhood. Michael didn't have it easy growing up. His father was a very nasty person often provoking confrontations on his own that led to physical confrontations. He needs to drag out Pretrial Intervention as long as possible. He is liable for being charged by the Feds so he needs to get past the 3 year statute of limitations without being charged by the additional jurisdiction. His lawyer knows that the Feds wont charge him until the state case is resolved. If he can complete the program, the case is dismissed and if this happens after May 31st because May 30th is the aniversery date of the crime, then he can essentially beat the case altogether. So his attourneys will need to get him one more postponement until after the end of May, which also means that he needs to spread out the community service hours out so that he'll have good reason for one more postponement. His businesses are still flourishing despite the arrest.

I heard about this post from a friend and decided to tell my story because I experienced the dark side of this almost two decades ago when I was a high school student. I am very ashamed to admit this, but it still affects me to this day. I sometimes have flashbacks when I am in bed with my wife. I try to put it all out of my mind, but I cant. I've been watching this thread for almost a month now and I think I now have something to contribute. I have grandchildren that study martial arts, which I guess is your ordinary vanilla type called karate. My children essentially learn disciplin and respect and self confidence as well some of what I would call goldne rule moral teachings although my family are all Christian.

I would refute the statement that "They do not allow criminals in the dojo". I know many dodjos that welcome criminals with open arms. After all, its all about the money. I used to attend a Bujinkan dojo and we trained intensively and the lectures were always about scheming how to inflict the most physical trauma on a victim in the shortest possible time. Maiming people for life was something that was joked about. When I originally attended Bujinkan dojo, I interpreted it as a way to achieve the mastery of higher level techniques, and more as an art form than the wanton celebration of violence than I found it to be. The only thing the dojo I attended would not tolerate was conviction for theft, but violence was okay.

As for myself, I am not writing it off. I am interested in this case as I live here in Marietta although I never met this person face to face except in newspaper clippings and a few breaking stories on the internet. Innocent children need to be protected. I guess I touched a nerve, but first off, I was just kidding and oh hey, yeah, I said nothing bad about Mac or the Bujinkan. I trained with Mac too until a couple years ago and I might have trained with you if you have been training with him before mid-2006. I would never talk shit about the Bujinkan, just the nonsensical posts. I honestly thought you were making fun of the Bujinkan-some of the ridiculous posts included racial slurs, child molestation jokes, and words mocking names of the nine Kobudo. I actually wrote some posts asking people not to rush to judgment. I would like to know if you guys are still training. My schedule finally allows me to get back into it and then something like this happens. Don't give any details on this post as I don't want the school to come to any harm by these psychos, please just tell me if you are sill training.
I was considering a return to training myself, it is how I discovered this situation. If you are who you say you are, yes you likely did train with me and know just as well as I do the old training room is obviously closed. There is the main dojo in Atlanta still.
I loved training with Mac for many years and really enjoyed the more violent techniques. I really miss it. I loved the fact that so many ordinary objects can be turned into weapons at a moments notice when the proper skills have been acquired. Mac will always be my master as I have the utmost respect for him.
Yeah,I saw that is was closed but right before I heard about his whole thing I heard from they were training in the back of Mac's office for awhile, but only two days a week rather than four. I'm going to see if anyone is there this week, because it would really be a shame if that dojo broke up-it was a good group of guys. I didn't even know there was a main Atlanta dojo. I think the rising rent was getting really out of control and a lot of people weren't able to pay the tuition hikes to cover it, I'm just speculating now though.
The main thing to know is that Mac has been framed by the government. His students were blamed for torture in Iraq and Guantanamo which was approved of by the upper military brass, but they wanted to prove a point and scapegoat Mac's students, so they frame him for child porn. What a farce!!

Wow, you guys have taken this thread into outer space. The military brass didn't approve of torture-some members of the CIA and private contractors conducted the torture. In fact, it was the top brass who pushed for the recent law to adopt the Army manual of interrogation for all the government-which explicitly bans torture. I'm not saying this karate guy did it, but I certainly don't think that last explanation of a frame up is credible.
